Nearly there

Today has been a really productive day of design and development and the whole thing is coming together nicely. Below is an example of where we are at currently with our game.  As you can see there have been a whole host of changes since the last prototype displayed on this blog:
The changes in this version of Parchment include:

  • Addition of sound
  • Addition of level graphics
  • improved character animations
  • Menu systems - start menu and end score menu
  • Game effects - fades and flashes
  • Scoring system
  • Addition of other sprite graphics (checkpoint)
  • Addition of initial instructions
It is good to see all of these elements come together.  All we have to do is get the last bits in now and everything will be sorted.
